Install & activate
- After payment, your eSIM QR code is emailed within 1-2 business days.
- Connect to Wi-Fi, open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM, and scan the code.
- On arrival, select the eSIM and enable Data Roaming.
- If it does not connect, set the APN manually or contact us.
Before you buy
- This is an eSIM, not a physical card. Check that your phone supports eSIM (dial *#06# for an EID).
- Some HK/Macau iPhone models do not support eSIM.
- The QR code can be installed only once and cannot be transferred.
- After the data allowance is used, speed is throttled — no extra charges.
- Data is provided by local operators; actual speed depends on local coverage.
Product description
This card is issued by one of the Hong Kong China Mobile / China Unicom / China Telecom affiliates. Since 2026 these three have been tightening first-time activation inside mainland China: complete the first activation or QR scan in Hong Kong or overseas before bringing the card into the mainland. If you are already there, contact us first. Other Hong Kong operators (csl, 3HK and others) have not announced similar limits so far; any eSIM exemption follows the operator's latest announcement.
China Unicom's "Mainland and Macau 365-day Internet Card" ** This product is an E-SIM version, not a physical SIM card version ** Data volume: 30GB shared data service is provided, 4G and 5G network mobile data services are provided in the Mainland, and 4G network mobile data service is used in Macau.
Speed-limited appointment: There is no speed-limited appointment, and the service will be stopped after 30GB is used up. The service must be activated in Hong Kong first. After activation, data roaming can be turned on after arriving at the destination. Validity period: 365 days.
From the SIM card activation date to 23:59 Hong Kong time on the 365th day. Covered areas: Mainland China, Macau Last activation date: 2027/12/31 Service needs to be activated in Hong Kong first: This Internet card cannot be activated in Mainland China.
Before customers travel to Mainland China, please be sure to activate this Internet card in advance in Hong Kong or other designated applicable areas (except Mainland China) listed on this webpage www.cuniq.com/e/activate-ppc.
The service can only be used in Mainland China after the service is successfully activated. Note that early activation does not begin to calculate the number of days your data package is available.
Your product's life cycle still starts when you reach the traffic usage in mainland China or other places of use.
If you have not arrived in mainland China or other places of use to start using it after 30 days after activation, it will automatically start and start to calculate the number of available days of the data package.
Please make appropriate arrangements for the activation operation according to your itinerary within 30 days before arriving in mainland China or other places of use.
How to receive E-SIM: Our store will provide E-SIM enabled QR CODE during office hours from the day the order is confirmed to the next working day. Please log in to leave a message in the order to view it. E-SIM is for one-time use only and cannot be transferred or reused.
Before placing an order, please confirm whether your device supports the E-SIM function. You can usually check whether you can add E-SIM in the SIM management tool, or dial *#06#. If an EID number appears, it means it supports E-SIM.
The Hong Kong and Macau versions of iPhone are only supported by the following models: iPhone 17/18 series, iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, iPhone 16e, iPhone XS, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone SE. (Hong Kong and Macau version iPhones other than the above models do not support E-sim)
